Sunny Coney Island, as depicted in this fabulous 1940 ish postcard art! Our postcard lamp series is growing, and we love them all so much. Wonderful wax printing process for our postcard shades adds a dimension to the original linen style of postcards from that time. The Cyclone  was constructed in 1927 by Harry C. Baker and Vernon Keenan and is one of the country’s few surviving vintage wood-track rollercoasters. Still standing, and in use today! A landmark and a treasure! A gem of Coney Island, Luna Park in Brooklyn, New York City.

This medium table lamp is 5 inches wide and approximately 13 inches tall. We make the lampshade with a paper print that we mount to lampcrafter's styrene, and trim it with grosgrain ribbon. The shade attaches to our maple wood base at the socket. Has an 8 foot cord with switch, and base is weighted underneath. 40 watt maximum if using incandescent bulb, or higher is fine if using a cool burning LED bulb.  All handmade here in my little cutest lamp studio in the Hudson Valley, NY!
